Percussionist and composer András Dés is one of the most active figures on the Hungarian jazz scene, both as member of several groups and as a leader. This time he enters the stage of the Opus the third time with his new trio consisting of two guitars and percussion. The carefully composed repertoire of this unusual lineup went through many changes and refinements during the rehearsals and the preceding concerts. The present concert soon will be followed by the recording of the trio’s debut album at BMC’s studio.

“While composing the new pieces, I was inspired by images of nature – memories of landscapes, the sound of water, the smell of the earth. Somehow a simultaneous struggle and harmony of the four elements of the antiquity, Earth, Fire, Water and Air, appeared in these pictures.” said András Dés about the program.
