Bálint Gyémánt’s guitar playing reflects a profound inner microcosm which is always open to new inspirations. In the last two years, the guitarist/composer created his sensitive and dynamic new pieces with his trio in mind. The Bálint Gyémánt Trio’s forthcoming debut album, set to be released in the spring of 2017, will feature Tibor Fonay on bass and László Csízi on drums with special guest Shai Maestro on piano. The concert audience will get a taste of the upcoming album as the Trio will perform live with Shai Maestro as a closing celebration of their joint studio session.

Shai Maestro’s meteoric rise as a pianist started in bassist Avishai Cohen’s Trio alongside drummer Mark Guiliana. Between 2006 and 2011, the Trio recorded four albums and performed at the most prestigious jazz venues around the world. Since then, Shai Maestro formed his own trio to great international acclaim. Maestro’s compositions reveal the deepest emotions with an amazing sense of style and clarity.
