The Budapest Strings are offering a unique and special concert series. Two contemporary composers are presented each time. One of their pieces will be performed and discussed by the composers themselves. They will explain, why they chose a past piece of work to be played before theirs, and they will talk about what links together the two pieces which are distanced from each other by decades or even centuries. They are going to prove that there is no rift between the music of the past and the present.
