At this special evening pianist Hsin-Ni Liu creates dialogue between the contemporary music of three continents: Europe, America and Asia.
First we will hear the concerto of András Emszt, graduate of the Composition Department at the Liszt Academy, in the most authentic way: with the solo of the composer. This will be followed by Fairytales of Grammy nominee Joseph Hallmann, a piece dedicated by the Philadelphia-based composer to Hsin-Ni Liu. The solo saxophone part will be presented by Nicolas Beaupertuis who is also a well-known figure in the jazz scene. Finally, this particular musical adventure will come to an end with the piano concerto of Chen Mao Shuen, one of the most respected Far Eastern composers of our time.
Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, also devoted to the promotion of contemporary classical music, will be directed by Philippe de Chalendar, recognized both as conductor and cellist.
