The Dénes Makovics Sextet is the latest formation of the versatile saxophonist-flutist from Miskolc, Hungary. Following the traditions set by Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderly and Art Blakey in their sound, the sextet brings out the most from the energies and opportunities inherent in the three-piece wind section.
