The fiery, emotional singer Elsa Valle from Cuba, home of frenetic rhythms and divine melodies, is a great favorite of the Hungarian audience. Her band, Afrocando, is made up of well-known musicians on the Hungarian jazz scene, featuring among them Elsa's husband, Gábor Winand, one of Europe's most singular jazz singers, who also plays the keyboards in addition to the saxophone. The virtuoso pianist Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, Jr. and the excellent rhythm section take care of the dense musical texture of the songs.
