“Over the past 25 years, I have composed a lot of musical pieces, some of which are still close to my heart. This solo piano album contains some of my favourites. As rhythm plays a key role in my play and I like using the lower and middle registers of the piano, we tried to create a more bass-oriented sound that suits my style. Another reason why this record is special is that this time there is more emphasis on compositions than on improvisations.
