He founded the Transform Quintet fusion-jazz band, doing foreign tours, making appearances at festivals and releasing albums. His talent was acknowledged by famous American jazz pianist Joey Calderazzo (Michael Brecker Band, Banford Marsalis Quartet), whom he toured with in 2006 and 2008, releasing later a common album, Another Child, in 2012. He is a quite versatile composer, writing songs for pop bands and soundtrack for several movies. As musician, he had common projects with Zita Gereben, Attila László, Veronika Harcsa, Random Trip, Akkezdet Phiai. The trio plays mostly Gabor’ own compositions. They let slip in some folk, RnB, pop or classical music into their mostly acoustic sound. From lyric compositions to straight ahead jazz they play a wide range of styles, even up to their own special covers of Nirvana and Led Zeppelin songs.
