An outstanding singer of the younger generation, Zita Gereben became popular as former vocalist of Emil Rulez and Gringo Star, albeit her musical career moves on a much wider range. With her own group she has proved at numerous club concerts and festivals that her silky voice fits to most different styles. The quintet, with the same line-up since its forming in 2008, released two succesful albums: after their first “pure” jazz album, Ready for the sun, their second disc Our Places with its more popular approach increased the number of their fans significantly. “I don't think I have to make a definite choice between jazz and pop, as I regard each composition as a unit in itself, what only matters is whether it's good or not” she says.
