As the winner of the Crest Jazz Vocal, the definitive international contest for vocalists, and as the star of the prestigious London Jazz Festival, he is increasingly gaining a well-deserved, international reputation. Two years ago, with four albums behind him, he visited Budapest for the first time to play at the Jazzforum Budapest. The gig with his quartet of a special line-up, featuring Miklós Lukács on cimbalom, besides his two compatriots, Adam Oleś on cello and Sebastian Frankiewicz on drums, was so successful, that it soon was released on BMC Records, achieving the four stars rank of French magazine Jazzman/Jazz magazine. “Jumping forward to the future of jazz, Polish vocalist Grzegorz Karnas releases one of the most engaging experimental vocal jazz albums in years, Audio Bead.
