Sena Dagadu, from Ghana, is one of the key persons on the recent Hungarian popular music scene. Besides being member of several groups, she released her new album, Lots of Trees, last year, ten years after her debut, First One. The singer was always open to participations in special projects as well, such as arranging music for sonnets of Shakespeare, with musicians from the field of improvised music. During this and other projects she got acquainted with the Dzsindzsa-members as well. After their gig last December at the Opus now Dzsindzsa and Sena they will prove again the freshness of Dzsindzsa instrumentals with new lyrics by Sena, as well as the beauty of some of the well-known Sena originals rearranged in the jazz idiom.
