Joachim Kühn considers contemporary jazz a universal language whose purpose is to express the present, and whose sources include Afro-American jazz as much as European concert music. His playing is marked by dynamism and sensitivity, a virtuoso technique, an agile imagination, an unmistakable touch, and a faultless sense of dynamics. He was always on the lookout for new musical connections, which was how he met Majid Bekkas, the Moroccan master of the North African lute and other string instruments.
Tickets are available for 1500 HUF in the box offices of the Palace of Arts, at the BMC, in the national JEGYPONT network of Interticket and online at JEGY.HU
