Five pieces can be heard on this concert from five contemporary composers – Bálint Baráth, Bálint Bolcsó, Attila Dóra, Samu Gryllus and Andrea Szigetvári. These pieces are reflections on the theme and sculptures of Metaxu by János Kalmár.

The Greek Metaxu indicates this life as a transitory state between ignorance and knowledge. That, what seems to us to be, is nothing but what moves the soul towards visibility and leads beyond that. No other, but men deployed in this intermediate field.
