News László Vidovszky 75
The Ligeti Ensemble celebrates Hungarian composer László Vidovszky's 75th birthday on February 28th at BMC.
Vidovszky explained his ars poetica with these words 30 years ago: "My motivation has always been discovering music and observe musical phenomena. This universe is so much vaster than what any man could roam. If I manage to avoid the dangers of being a parasyte of music, the only way forward is making a leap of faith into the unknown."
László Vidovszky's fascination with the unknown remains strong as ever, as evidenced by the concert celebrating the composer's 75th birthday featuring works from his last two decades, performed by the Ligeti Ensemble, led by András Keller and Zoltán Rácz.
