1945 – The Sound Behind the Film
- László Gőz, György Kurtág Jr. , Miklós Lukács, Tibor Szemző , Iván Angelusz , Marcell Nagy
After several concerts in Europe and overseas, Moment's Notice Trio enters a domestic stage the first time. Their present performance uses the score of the film 1945 to let it grow, change and develop in the real-time process of playing. The composer, Tibor Szemző, joins the trio as narrator, guiding the listeners through a special journey in time, focusing on one single day of summer 1945. The acoustic experience is widened by improvised actions of some protagonists from the film, like dance artist Iván Angelus or cinematographer Marcell Nagy.
The visual background to this uncommon evening is strengthened through black & white scenes from the film by Elemér Ragályi as well as period photographs. Stage presence and visuals are directed by Ferenc Török.
