Evelin Tóth - voice Dániel Kardos - guitar Péter Szalai - tabla, cajon TrioM, led by vocalist Evelin Tóth plays mostly originals, preferring often folk songs from Hungary and other parts of the world as their sources. Melancholy of fado or passion of flamenco are present, just as idioms of jazz, world music or pop, resulting a renewed musical language of unique and exciting sound, both in their originals as in performing covers. Evelin Tóth shaped her style by learning parallel classical, jazz and different traditional (South-Indian, African, Sephardi) singing techniques. Her 2010 solo album Let him kiss me with contribution of Hamid Drake, Mihály Dresch, László Fassang and Zoltán Lantos is one of the outstanding of her several releases. The other members of the trio are tabla and cajon player Péter Szalai, the Ravi Shankar-pupil well-known from Mitsoura Group, Calcutta Trio, Tin-Tin Quartet and from different fusions of traditional Indian and jazz musicians, as well as guitarist, composer Dániel Kardos, holder of several awards, whose compositions are determining in the repertoire of the group.
