Winner of numerous awards, Mihály Borbély, the outstanding Hungarian reed player familiar with traditional folk, world music, jazz and contemporary music alike, formed his group around the turn of the millennium with musicians of similar attitudes. Their improvised music is characterised by exciting changes in melody and rhythm, sometimes subtle and translucent while vigorous and dynamic at the other, due to the mutual use of different genres in jazz along with the musical heritage of the Carpathian Basin and the Balkan, adding elements of contemporary music.
The group toured successfully several times in Europe as well as two times in Mexico.
