Members of the Ludium Ensemble were recruited from last decade’s outstanding students of the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy of Budapest. Under the guidance of pianist Gábor Csalog the ensemble’s main goal is to cultivate and promote György Kurtág’s oeuvre, several times in the maestro’s presence and following his instructions. Cimbalom player András Szalai, vocalist Éva Bodrogi as well as pianist András Kemenes joined recently to the ensemble, the latter participating in its artistic guidance as well.
