Boglárka Csemer - voice Áron Sebestyén - piano Mihály Simkó-Várnagy - electric cello Tamás Szabó - drums Boglárka Csemer, aka Boggie, had her successful CD première before a full-house audience in the Opus Jazz Club a couple of months ago. Now she returns with a Christmas special, adding some arrangements of Christmas songs as real rarity, to pieces of her own repertoire. Appropriately the line-up of her band is also unique, an electric cello joins the piano accompaniment during the intimate program. The Sziget festival, concert at Palace of Arts or appearance at this year's Jazz Sur Seine Festival are as important stages of her blossoming career, as her club-gigs in Vienna, Budapest or Frankfurt. The songs on her new album, Boggie, written by herself and her pianist, are sung in French, Hungarian and English. Released by one of most influential domestic indie label, Tom-Tom Records, the album reached the 4th place on the Hungarian sales chart.
