As Fellini to cinema, the composers featured in the Concerto 8 ½ series are masters in music the same way. By introducing highlights of these classics, the series – with its title playfully reflecting both to Fellini's famous Oscar-winning b&w movie as well as to the rather unusual starting time of the concerts – invites us to a musical journey through the exciting, ever-changing and sensibly reflective musical world of the last hundred years up to present day.
