Library

An exciting event of high standard will take place again in our library, by hosting a joint program of Hungarian Gustav Mahler Society and the Music Collection of Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library.

Discography-searcher Péter Fülöp will present different performances of the Second Movement of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.1. We can listen to its shortest and longest recording, transcriptions for piano, synthesizer and winds, and compare its two orchestral scores: the Budapest original and the final one.
