She's quite serious in her work, each note is important for her.” (Csaba Deseő, JazzMa) Santa Diver was formed in 2006 by jazz violinist Luca Kézdy and multi-instrumentalist Dávid Szesztay while the present third member of the trio, Zsolt Sárvári Kovács joined them in 2011. Three instruments and three characters - they make up a proper kind of music somewhere in the segment between jazz, world and free music. Their special sound is drawn by their odd lineup consisting of Luca's special, narrative playing on the violin, colourful and melodic bass lines and an energetic drumming yet full of fine, exciting happenings. The trio's second album, a live recording made at Szimpla Kert, entitled simply Santa Diver, was released on NarRator Records in May 2013.
