One of the few Kossuth-Prize holders in jazz, 71-year-old pianist Béla Szakcsi is the emblematic, internationally renowned, outstanding figure of Hungarian jazz. Though invited mostly to perform in large venues, like in April to BMC’s concert hall with his fellow-musicians from the US, he is always happy to play at clubs-gigs as well. Especially when he does it in the good old trio line-up with such approved mates as drummer Elemér Balázs and double-bass player György Orbán, also regular performers of the Opus Jazz Club.
Tickets are available for 1000 HUF on the spot, in the national JEGYPONT network of Interticket and online at JEGY.HU.
