“There was an ecstatic feeling in the audience” – reported the Hungarian jazz-site www.jazzma.hu about TRIAD’s gig at the Opus last summer.
The trio was formed at the end of 2012 as a co-operation of three dominant figures from the younger Hungarian jazz generation. The compositions on the trio’s repertoire are mostly by Bacsó, but improvisations have real importance in the pieces beside their written parts. The leader switches this time from alto and soprano to tenor saxophone, the pianist is the excellent Árpád Oláh Tzumó, who has just returned from his several-months stay from Japan, while the third member is the most sought-after young jazz drummer around, Márton Juhász.
