Veronika ChiChi - a charming jazz lady with a modern twist. She is one of the most prominent jazz vocalists in Lithuania, whose music is infused with both traditional jazz improvisation and contemporary jazz grace. The title of her debut album, "Singer of a 1000 Faces," aptly reflects the diverse range of expressions and styles she incorporates into her work.

As a mature jazz composer and the strong leader of her quintet, Veronika infuses her compositions and interpretations of jazz standards with courage and playfulness. Her voice is known for its ability to touch the very soul of her listeners, creating a profound and emotional connection.

The formation of the Veronika ChiChi Quintet in 2022 marked a significant chapter in her career, emerging from the challenges posed by the pandemic. The quintet's new program, "Namai," (eng. - Home) showcases a vibrant fusion of Latin and jazz influences, presented in the Lithuanian language. The addition of percussionist Arkadij Gotesman to the ensemble enhances the Latin flavor, complementing the talents of the up-and-coming Latvian bassist Arturs Duckis, the highly sought-after Lithuanian drummer Domantas Razmus, and unquestionably one of Lithuania's finest jazz pianists, Dmitrij Golovanov.

Veronika's band has graced numerous Lithuanian festivals and also gained international recognition, performing at the Cairo Jazz Festival in Egypt, Leopolis Jazz Festival in Lviv, Ukraine, and Saulkrasti Jazz Festival in Latvia.

Veronika ChiChi's musical journey began with studies in jazz in Lithuania and Germany, shaping her into an active participant on the music stage since 2012. In addition to her quintet, she has released seven more albums with various groups, showcasing her versatility and range as a musician. Beyond jazz, Veronika has ventured into contemporary opera and other projects, earning her a spot on stages across Europe, the USA, China, Russia, and Egypt.

Her participation in the international "Jazz Exchange" project alongside musicians like Bojan Z and artists from Serbia and Luxembourg demonstrates her commitment to collaborative endeavors. The project led to performances at prestigious Like A Jazz Machine festival in Luxembourg and Novi Sad Jazz festival in Serbia, culminating in the recording of an album that is currently in the release process.
