One of the most talented of young Hungarian jazz players, Viktor Tóth considers himself a man on a quest for a “union with universal harmony.' His playing is marked by a mode of expression that is dynamic yet sensitive, and a desire to capture the energies of the moment. He has performed at several of the jazz festivals of Europe and the United States, is the leader of a number of formations, plays in a great many bands and is a contributor to several projects. He has played with practically all Hungarian jazz musicians of importance, and his international partners have included William Parker, Henry Franklin, Piotr Wojtasik, John Betsch and Kirk Lightsey.
