After a longer compulsory break, Zsolt Kaltenecker returned to stage last November with 1705, delivering a tremendous gig at the Opus. While listening to their music it was unavoidable to remember a former statement of the pianist, mentioning the Esbjörn Svensson trio, besides groups of Avishai Cohen and Brad Mehladu, as their main inspiration. After the concert there was no doubt that the spirit of the legendary piano trio has been resuscitated in their performance. Let it rise and live on!
