JAZZY LIVE│NOSIG project, guest: Rita Kabelács

21:00
Opus Jazz Club
Attila Juhász - keyboards János Kormos - guitar László Studniczky - bass guitar Tamás Berdisz - drums guest: Rita Kabelács - vocals The name of NOSIG project comes from the abbreviation of “No Significant Change”, used in aviation meteorology for not expecting serious changes in the weather. Though a brand new group, NOSIG’s members are all tried-and-true jazz musicians, so the proven high quality of their music is to be expected this time as well. Just to shortlist the groups and soloists the four-in-hand Juhász-Kormos-Studniczky-Berdisz worked with, is a challenge: Gringó Sztár, Budapest Jazz Orchestra, Zséda, Fusio Group, Sárik Péter Trió, ESP, Showder Band, Náray Erika, Hevesi Tamás, Kökény Attila etc. The soul-funk program of the group is represents deliberately a more popular side of jazz, be it instrumental or with vocals. Their wide and rich repertoire is always custom-tailored to their guest soloist. This evening they are accompanied by Rita Kabelács who worked as vocalist with several Hungarian stars (Gábor Presser, Pierrot, Péter Gerendás etc.), best-known still as a regular member of Zorán’s group since 12 years. Mostly singing backing vocals so far, she now steps ahead, and sings Mick Hucknall’s, Stevie Wonder’s, or Aretha Franklin’s songs in front of a backing group. Tickets available on site and through the JEGY.HU network!
