The composer’ recital by Balázs Horváth is build up on percussive elements and the issue of pulsation. Most of the pieces are a block-like carving out of musical material. The protagonists of the evening are the percussion instruments and their dedicated performer, Gábor Palotás. Horváth has already written several compositions for Palotás, which will be performed alongside other, sometimes quite special solo and chamber pieces tonight.
