András Pecek Lakatos, though still in the beginning of his thirties, came into focus at BMC already ten years ago, as member of the Szakcsi Lakatos Trio, when they recorded the album Na Dara!. Often mentioned as one of best drummers of his generation, his further partners so far were Kálmán Oláh, Gyula Babos, Mihály Borbély, Tony Lakatos or Róbert Szakcsi, just to name a few. The duo of Zoltán and Péter Oláh is well known from Trio Acoustic, formerly with Emil Jelinek or György Jeszenszky at the drums. The trio released 9 albums so far, some of them in Japan at Gats Records. Their forthcoming tenth CD will feature András Pecek Lakatos at the drums. The program of the evening will be comprised of compositions from this album as well as of hot and tasteful interpretation of standards, sung by guest Piroska Sárközi and arranged by the trio.
