On the eve of his birthday, the Saint Ephraim Male Choir pays hommage to the male choir works by Béla Bartók – one of the three great Hungarian composers beside Liszt and Kodály who propelled the genre to the heights of true masterworks. Together, they have composed more than a hundred works for male choir. The concert is hosted by radio show host Ádám Bősze who will introduce the pieces performed with anecdotes, letters, stories and documents in Hungarian.

The Saint Ephraim Male Choir is committed to contributing to Bartók's legacy: their 2015 album Bartók&Folk on BMC Records was welcomed by rave reviews in the international press.
